A moment of silence in the courtroom for NY high court Judge Sheila Abdus-Saalam

The New York Law Journal has this short piece that includes some moving images of the moment of silence at the New York Court of Appeals in the memory of Judge Sheila Abdus-Saalam whosebody was recently found in the Hudson River. Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam was the first African-American woman to serve on New York’s highest court.
