“No Right to Counsel After Defendant Failed to Cooperate with Appointed Lawyers”

Wisconsin Bar: 

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled (5-2) that defendant’s conduct, which caused three attorneys to withdraw from the representation, constituted a forfeiture of his right to appointed counsel. Dissenters would mandate a colloquy in these circumstances.
